What We Do
First, a little about what we don’t do. We don’t just “do Wills” in the sense that most people think when they think of estate lawyers. In other words, we don’t just meet for an hour to get twenty minutes worth of information to plug into a Will form and expect nothing else to happen until your death, hoping someone calls us to ask what to do with that Will so we can then charge a healthy fee to make “real money”. No, we don’t “do Wills” like that. Here’s what we really do.
We actually help you plan and preserve your legacy for people and organizations dear to you. We have a process in place to uncover exactly what you want, and we are sensitive and able to serve your needs in ways that will give you peace of mind. So, not only do we prepare for you the right kinds of documents, but we also see to it that each document says the right thing to make sure your individual desires and intentions are met.
Another thing we do is stay on top of the latest changes in the law and the newest, best ideas for estate planning and document drafting. We are active participants in nationally reputable organizations of professionals who constantly share ideas, tips and cutting edge strategies for estate planning, including health care, and who equip us to implement biblical principles in our practice.
Finally, we recognize that we’re lawyers, not insurance people, financial planners, accountants, brokers, priests or rabbis. We know our place and work as a supportive member of your overall team of advisors. And if you don’t already have such a team, we help you assemble one, because your family and loved ones depend on it.
